Wiltshire Small Rewilders
The Wiltshire Small Rewilders is a volunteer run network providing support and knowledge sharing for small rewilding projects, and those thinking of starting a new project, across Wiltshire and the surrounding area. We welcome members with projects up to around 50 acres.
The network was founded in January 2024 and run by Fiona and Rich Cassidy of Found Outdoors and Jonathan Thomson of Underhill Wood Nature Reserve.
Members' benefits include a private online discussion group for advice and support, visits to local rewilding projects, occasional workshops and other private events. There is also a public Instagram page showing what we get up to. We are associated with Rewilding Britain.
"rewilding is the large-scale restoration of ecosystems to the point where nature is allowed to take care of itself. Rewilding seeks to reinstate natural processes and, where appropriate, missing species – allowing them to shape the landscape and the habitats within."

If you want to know more about rewilding in general, we recommend visiting the Rewilding Britain website which is full of useful resources.
